Well, rats!

The sad news is that Sweetums has had a miscarriage. In the animal world, it is really called an abortion. But I just feel weird saying that, so I'm going to keep saying miscarriage. Tony came today to confirm it, that she is indeed "open". Now we do the shot to induce heat, and then Tony comes back, and then Tony comes back again...and then maybe one day I'll be writing a post about Sweetums being pregnant once again. In the words of my Granny, "It is what it is!" And that is all I have to say about it.

So sorry!

I saw your comment about FB Young Farmers on The Cotton Wife's blog. My husband will be in the GA YF committee for the next two years. We are really looking forward to it. I wish you the best in the competition!

Actually, in the "human" world it's also called a "missed abortion" or "spontaneous abortion" but obviously you don't want to say to someone who's had one "I'm so sorry for your missed abortion".

I love the names Sweetums. That's what we call our little shih tzu and our kids LOL
